FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Race pack collection will take place on the day and will include a t-shirt. Small gifts will be available at each activity within the Activity Village for each child that has registered and completes the activity.
The Mini Dash 2018 will take place on Saturday, 17th November. The venue is Umm Al Emarat Park.
Registration will start at 08.00. The Mini Dash will end at 13.00.
Any child between 5 and 13 can enter the race.
Age group categories:
- Under 8s
- Under 11s
- Under 14s
The Activity Village is open to all age group categories.
There is one Fun Run where you can join your children and run with them – you can join your child if they are in the Under 8 category. This is a 450m route.
The Mini Dash is not just about the run. We also have an interactive Activity Village to keep the whole family engaged and having fun!
Competitors and family members can join activities in the village where you can experience different sports and fitness activities as well as health and nutrition education.
There will be a main stage where we have a schedule of events taking place throughout the day.
There will also be healthy food and drink available to purchase onsite.
Please ensure your child wears comfortable active/sports wear i.e. trainers, leggings or shorts and a t-shirt.
There will be restrooms and changing facilities available at the venue.
Registration begins at 8.00, but all participating children should arrive at least 30 minutes before their Fun Run age category time slot.
There will be plenty of car parking space at Umm Al Emarat Park.
There will be a small gift at each activation in the Activity Village. Once children have completed 10 activities (one being the Fun Run), they will receive a medal. Please note, however, only children that have registered and paid for the Mini Dash (including the Fun Run) receive gifts and a medal.
If you have colleagues, friends or children who would like to celebrate with you and join in the activities in the village, please encourage them to come along.
